I have signed up for the DDP for my upcoming vacation this June. I had to make 2 separate ressies at BCV because I could not get the same 2BR for all 7 consecutive nights - I am waitlisted so hopefully I will not need to check-out/check back in to a different room at BCV; but in case I end up with the two separate ressies I'm wondering how it would affect my DDP.

The first ressie is for a Sunday check-in with a Tuesday check out. The next ressie is for Tuesday check-in and check-out the following Sunday. Total vacation is 8 days/7 nights from a Sunday to a Sunday.

How would this impact my DDP ? On that Tuesday when I am checking-in/checking out, when would my meals/snacks on that first DDP expire and when do the meals/snacks on the new DDP begin ? Obviously if I have anything left on the first DDP I want to be able to use it before they switch me over to the second DDP.

Who else has been in a similar situation ?

Thanks

Joe

Right here is how it went with my last holiday. I had free dining for 15 days with 2 reservations (at Pop but I doubt it would be different with BVC) I had 1 snack credit 1 cs credit and 1 ts credit left. I asked at the check in if I could stay in the same room, they said they would try but couldn't guarante it. So the night before the first check out I asked consierge if I was staying in the same room and I was. I did the express check out and could have had the new key delivered to my room but chose to pick it up. I used the last credits on the wednesday and used the 2nd reservation credits from the thursday til the monday. It worked out ok for my and I am sure you will find its ok for you as well.

As Paula indicated, you'll have a separate set of credits for each of your reservations. The credits for the first reservation will be valid from the time you check-in to that reservation until midnight of the day that reservation is over. The credits for the second reservation will be valid from the time you check-in to that reservation until midnight of the day you check-out. (The credits will be on separate room keys.) So you'll have one day when you could use credits from either reservation (but of course you're better off finishing up the credits from the first reservation first).

You can check at the front desks as to hwat you have left. Just be aware of what you have and use that room key. We have always had two rooms at the same time and we just make sure to alternate room use.
