We plan on splitting 4 deluxe DDP credits at Sci-fi amongst 8 couples in March. When DH and I did this 2 years ago they allowed us to order a milkshake as a beverage. Does anyone know if they are still allowing this?

No clue whether they do or not, but it doesn't seem right.
It's not a glass of soda water with syrup... it's an ice cream sundae put in a blender.

I agree and consider it a dessert.....but the bottomless ones at WCC are allowed as a beverage and, like I stated, have done it previously at Sci-fi.

It's still on the menu as a non-alcoholic beverage.

There are some wild DDP "swings" there. You can also use a credit for a $32 steak... or, a $14 sandwich.

We went in early december and shared a DxDDP credit. We each got a milkshake - one counted as dessert, one as beverage. This is a GREAT place to split a credit (for that reason and others... the portions are pretty large!) I doubt it has changed since then. The wings were great! You can get the appetizer sampler too but it will count for 2 of your appetizer credits (we were splitting one credit and could not get it).

It's not really that weird, it is non alcoholic, you drink it and it costs the same as some of the non alcoholic specialty slush beverages that also count.

Last time I went, sci fi, whispering canyon, and 50s prime time allowed you to order shake as beverage. These were a few years ago, however.

Never hurts to ask! (well, at 50s prime time it might hurt; a "good" server in character will give you a hard time for having dessert with your meal! - but will get it for you anyway)
