DDP menu question

Ok, first time on the DDP or any DP for that matter. I have a question about the different parts of the menu. If they are listing a soup/salad and enhancements does that mean an extra charge for those items? I know we get an appetizers, meal and dessert but is the soup/salad and enhancements part of that also? If so, that will be to much food for part of my crew.

Soup/Salad or Enhancements are separate line items and not included in dining credits.

Only the Deluxe Dining Plan includes an appetizer. Standard Plan does not.

Are you on the regular Disney Dining Plan (DDP) which includes 1 table service, 1 quick service and 2 snacks per person per night or the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan (DxDDP) which has 3 dining credits per person per night?

If you are on the regular DDP you get an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic fountain beverage at the table service restaurants where you order from a menu. It does not include appetizers, soup or salads if they are on a separate section of the menu and it does not include anything in the sections called Enhancements, Side Dishes or Accompaniments. If you order any of these you will have to pay out of pocket for them.

If you are on the DeluxeDDP you are entitled to an appetizer along with the entree, dessert and fountain beverage. The appetizer can come from the section of the menu called Appetizers, Starters, First Course, Soup or Salad. Enhancements, etc are not included in the DxDDP and would be out of pocket even on the DxDDP.
