DDP for two nights?

Can I purchase the DDP while staying only two nights a BCV?

I was going thru my conformations for a longer stay and I notices that two days are on a separate reservation. We have four reservations covering twenty three nights According to the reservations we start in a 1 bedroom for a week then a second reservation number for two nights before we go into a 2 bedroom. I would like to try the DDP and was wondering if I could add it to those two nights?

As long as it's a seperate reservation with a seperate reservation number...yes. Be sure you check your vacation information online in your "my DVC" first though, to make sure it truly is seperate reservations.

That's what we do and IMO it's the best use of the plan. We shoot for the more expensive restaurants to get the best value. More than a few days on the plan and we are stuffed.

We are also doing the DDP for our first of 2 reservations. Even though we will be in a 1 BR for that leg of the DDP, it will be Christmas and there is lots of $$ to spend on meals at that time of year! Then we will rest our stomachs for the second leg.

I just checked the DVC on-line “Upcoming Vacations” screen and verified that we have separate reservation number for the first week (1 Bedroom) then another number for the next two days (1 Bedroom) and then we go into a 2 Bedroom so that would be a third number.
As I understand it, I can opt to take the DDP during those two days and can use the vouchers over a three day period (check-in day, middle day, and check-out day). Can anyone see any problem with my thinking? It may be a problem that I may have to check-out then change rooms although I don’t think DVC wants another full cleaning to occur if we co back into the same room.

Probably a dumb question but if you have a seperate reservation for a 1 night stay can I get the dining plan? and if so... when do the credits for snacks, lunches, etc expire?

I'm arriving on Sat at 2:00 PM paying cash. Having a TS dinner that evening. Can the other items Lunch, snacks etc... be used the next day?
