DDP for bottled water and cokes at hotel?

I know we can get bottled drinks in the parks with our dining plan but can we use them for bottled water and sodas in the gift shop/grocery in our hotel?? we are at GF. In pics I don't see the DP symbol so wanted to ask. it looks like you can get drinks at Gasparillas Grill I "think"

From what I've seen, you can for certain sizes. But at your resort, it would be free to fill your refillable mug with water, soda, coffee, etc. That's what I plan on doing so I can save my credits for yummy treats in the parks.

Yes, but it's not the best use of a snack credit. You can get free ice water at any place that has fountain beverages and as pp mentioned you can use your refillable mug at any resort.

Since you're not getting the absolute answer you seek, perhaps someone on the GF thread on the Resorts board - maybe even someone who's there right now - would know?

Yes, you can buy the same sized drinks (water and soda) that you get in the parks at the store in GF using snack credits. I buy the diet dr pepper there because that's the only place I can find them. It's also the similar selection as the QS drink fridge.

20oz soda bottles are always a snack credit.

But as others say you are better off using the refillable mug if getting soda at your resort. Also given 20oz soda is about $3 and some ice cream sundaes are snacks at $4.50 you can get better value using credits for ice cream compared to soda.

Also if you are using a quick service credit in a resort food court then get a bottled drink for later and just use the refillable mug for a drink for now
