DDP for AP holders last year at Christmas

A friend was at Disney last year during Christmas and is swearing to me the DDP was offered to AP holders during this time. Anyone remember this? I think she is getting senile in her old age but I wanted to ask. Hoping they might offer this again this year (if they ever offered it to begin with).

The Dining Plan is always available to Annual Passholders -- they just have to purchase additional admisssion (or be staying at a DVC resort on DVC points) to qualify. There has not been any offers that allowed a regular (non-DVC) guest to add on the Dining Plan without getting at least a one-day Magic Your Way admission pass.

Aye, but that is with a package correct? Not with a room only AP discount room. She was referring to it being offered last Christmas to AP holders on a room only AP reservation.

Yes, you must be staying at a Disney hotel and book a package, or be staying at an on-site DVC resort and staying on DVC points.

Is she talking about the Disney Dining Experience instead? It used to be for FL residents only.
