DDP for a two year old

I know that my 2 year old eats free at character meals and buffets - but do children 0-2 get any credits - for counterservice or snacks - or do we just purchase something from the menu for him? I guess he could just eat some off our plates, but he actually ate his own child's meal (or most of it) last time we were there (and did not have DDP).

They eat free at buffets and family service meals (like a buffet but a big tray of food is brought to your table and you all share it.) Any where else they are free to share with you. They will be given an empty plate to hold the food you share and usually a drink for free, but that's it. Anything else you have to buy. They do not get any credits at all.

2 year olds don't get any credits of their own, however for us we had so many unused snack credits at the end of our trip that we could have used more of our credits to get ice cream, etc for our then 1 year old. This year we have 2 adults, 1- 5 year old and 1- 2 year old in our party. Our 2 year old is not on the plan but we will use our snack credits to give her her own snacks when dd5 has hers. No biggie for us, since dh and I aren't big snack eaters ourselves and between 2 adult CS meals and 1 child CS meals, there is always more than enough food to go around for our family.

Thanks for the info. We'll just plan on sharing meals. Good tip about the snack credits - we'll try that too! Eight more days and counting til we're off to magical land!

When my daughter was 2, we found that it was sufficient to share with her the counter service meals. However, as many have said, they can eat for free at the buffets. At the other restaurants, we mentioned that she will just be sharing our food and they usually bring her a mickey plate (which she loved) and we shared our food with her. There was one location, (sorry, I can't remember now which restaurant it was), they brought her a plate of fruit and veggies and she ate it all, then she share with us.

I ordered CS for my 2yr old last year at some places. Because I knew he would not care for what I was eating and he loves grapes and mac and cheese so the places that had those things it was worth the 4$. He is a very good eater and we always had plenty to share with just choose not to when we saw something he would like better.
