Anyone know if it is possible to use the disney dining plan and get the fantasmic dining reserved seating?

Just curious... my husband just asked me about that and I wasn't too sure.

Fantasmic Dining Package is a reservation that you can make for MGM.

You reserve a ADR's at Mama Melrose Italian Restaurant, Hollywood & Vine, or the Brown Derby. (I think that the reservations have to be between certain times.) Then you are guaranteed to have a reserved seat for the Fantasmic show that night. This way you don't have to be there hours in advance, just to get good seats. Plus sometimes every seat will fill up and then you won't be able to see the show.

Sometimes they give the show twice in one night. The second show will usually be easier to get seats to than the first one. But the 2-show nights are not all the time.

IF you have not seen Fantasmic, it is a MUST!! the fireworks are awesome!

I believe you get a special ticket for a special reserved section. But you have to be there 30 minutes before the show starts.

Just the 3 mentioned participate. You have to request that package and give a Credit card # because if you don't give 48 hrs notice to cancel you will be charged $10. You have to specify the fantasmic pkg and they tend to fill quickly. I requested it for 9/4, 9/5, 9/6 & 9/7 at Mama's and they didn't have the pkg available but they did have room to just dine with out the special seating.

We 'll be there next week and have ADR for the package with MM.
Stiil doubting if i'm going thru with seeing the mixed reviews for MM.
Anyone know if next week will be busy and the Fantasmatic show will have long waiting lines ?
