Where can I find any menu items that are not included on the plan? My 13 year old son wants to eat at the Coral Reef and I thinkk the only thing he will eat on the menu is the steak $$$$.

THANKS

ME and DH went to Coral Reef the last 3 trips on the DDP and each time had the NY strip and we both thought it was very good. Only thing on the menu not included are the apps. but you get hot bread and some kind of oil dip at Coral Reef. I think the steak was almost as good as the Filet at Le Cellier which we had the last 4 trips to the MK

that's the best part about the DDP...you can let 'em eat steak :rotfl: (and cake!)

It's just such a treat to go to nice restaurants & not bother looking at the prices...if a kid wants nuggets...o.k. have nuggets. And if other kid wants the filet...well that's just dandy too. Kid's will think you're the best parents:love: in the universe cuz they can order what they want with no parental nagging.

and then you go ahead and "let" them order that $8.00 dessert. They'll really worship you then :cloud9: (but it's on the plan!)

BTW, when you're at those nice restaurants, always ask what drinks come with the DDP (it's always soda, tea or coffee, but also quite a few places allow smoothies or milkshakes as the DDP drink. Which is another real treat!)

There are very very few menu exclusions and practically none of those involve table service entrees. Steak is on the plan, lobster is on the plan (although it's only served at Narcoosees), whatever is on the menu is for the most part available on the plan. A 13 year old is ordering from the regular menu, not the child's menu, so no problems there.

Nicely Said:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone. That's exactly why we always do the meal plan. I always look at prices first then the food when I go out. This is so wonderful to me because I can acxtually get what I want too.

my husband had lobster on the plan in June at Cap'n Jacks in DTD.

There are no exclusions on the menu at Coral Reef (other than things the basic plan never covers like appetizers, alcohol, etc.). Definitely go there! It's my favorite. I think the steak there is better than the steak at Le Cellier. Also, every time I have been to Coral Reef on the dining plan they will let you get a non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri or pina colada instead of a soda, if you'd like.

Lobster tails were removed from Cap'n Jack's menu on or about October 4 and replaced with crab cakes. Narcoosee's is now the only dining plan restaurant that serves a lobster entree.

I hope they continue to have lobster too...I'm sacrificing the Hoop Dee Doo review in order for my husband to have dinner at Narcoossee's, because it costs 2 TS meals!! But....I'm giving in because he really didn't even want to go on the trip so I owe it to him!
