DDP, DVC and MB

Ok, so I have rented points from a DVC member. They added the DDP for us. The DDP does not show up in my MDE account (I guess cuz it only shows up in the DVC system? which I can't access cuz I'm not a Member). So is it not linked to my MB if its not in my MDE account? Is this going to be a problem when we are there? I know the MB links to MDE, but if there is no DDP to link to, how is that going to work? Thanks for any help! I hope I'm posting in right place

Make sure you have added the DVC reservation to your MDE. You have to manually add it under find my reservations and then enter your confirmation number.

Then everything should be linked together, although it shouldn't be a problem either way.

If the reservation is added to your MDX then you will be fine. You are right, there isn't any way for YOU to confirm that you have added the dining plan. Have the member send you any confirmation they got.

I did link my resort reservation to MDE, so that is there and everything is linked with my tickets and FP+. Underneath my reservation it says WDW DVC Member Points Room Only, but that's it.

Should I stop worrying and overthinking and hope for the best? I mean our credit card does have a charge from WDW Reservations Other around $700, which is what the DDP is costing us. I was just worried that if it isn't explicitly on MDE our Magic Bands won't work when dining out. Or is that something that only would show up in the DVC system?
