DDP critic my choices

Going from May11-15 with my DW, 2 adults
Staying at AKL-Kidani

Day 1 - arrival day MK - storybook dining at artist point
Day 2 - HWS - lunch docking bay 7, dinner Prime Time Cafe
Day 3 - MK - BOG breakfast or lunch, Ohana dinner
Day 4 - AKL - Satu’li canteen lunch, Boma dinner
Day 5 - MK - not sure which QS yet

Confused about what we should do on HWS day, originally wanted to go to boardwalk at night and eat there however now I think may want to see fantastic before going to the boardwalk. Trattoria Al Forno or Ale and Compass better choices than PTC?

I like it. Never been to Artist Point for the Snow White meal. I don't particularly like the menu and I know my kids wouldn't but that is not an issue for you.

I am more of a fan of Mama Melrose if given the choice of Hollywood Studios table service (unless you want to spend some more $ at Brown Derby); however you posed the question about the Boardwalk so consider Crews Cup in the Yacht Club. They have a late night menu until 11p but for dinner you cannot beat the Prime Rib sliders. I don't think they are on the DDP though...in case that is a concern.

As for day 5 Quick Service leave the park and take the monorail to the Polynesian for Captain Cooks. Thai coconut meatballs...that is all.

For our HS day, I think we have decided we will take a mid day break and head back to the AKL. As such, we are thinking we will do Sanaa before heading back to HS/Boardwalk for the evening. Good plan?

Ultimately this is entirely up to how you are feeling at the moment. I generally plan breaks for my kids in an attempt to avoid meltdowns (mixed success) but if an adult trip for 4 nights I probably would want to maximize my time, bring some 5 hour energies for a kick, and not take a break...but that's just me. It's your vacation ultimately.
