DDP Credits

If we have the dining plan, but want to have friends join us for one or two meals can we use some of our credits for them, and just do fewer meals? Alternatively can we pay for the two of them OOP and still use the DDP for the rest of us?

You may not use your credits to purchase meals for those not on your plan / in your room.

You can of course pay cash for them and use DDP credits for you at the same meal. Just tell your waiter and they will do separate checks.

Question 1 -- No. That is a violation of the rules, which are likely to be enforced.

Question 2-- Yes, no problem. Not everyone at the same has to be on the same dining plan. Some guests can pay OOP while others use the DDP.

If your dining plan credits were assigned to 2 adults, the dining plan could not cover a meal for 4 adults. Only 2 adults could use the dining credits, as only 2 adults were given those credits.

No problem, I understand the policies here. I thought I was on the right side of the line, but realized it was close.
