DDP/Credit/Roomcard Tipping Question

Hi,
I've read a couple threads about tipping on the DDP and linking credit to your room card. Which is the best way to tip cash or roomcard? I've heard you can get auto charged %18 with DDP on a roomcard, is this true?

What I have read: If you don't want to charge it to your room, hand the CM your childs KTTW card -as there are no charging priviliges.

If you want to charge it to your room-you must have charging on your KTTW card.

As far as I know you only pay 18% gratuity if your party size is 6 or more-this includes small children and infants!

You get charged an automatic 18% on your DDP bill only if you are a party of six or more. The method of payment is not relevant to the auto gratuity.
