DDP and splitting stay

I am thinking about splitting our stay between 5 or 6 nights with DDP and 1 or 2 without DDP. If we check in on a Saturday and check out of the 6 nights with the DDP portion on Friday, that means we will have the DDP Saturday at 12:00 a.m through Friday at 11:59 p.m. correct? I am looking at adding on the last Friday night with no DDP so we can get up first thing in the morning to leave but I want to make sure we will have DDP for our entire park stay.

Not exactly.
It means you will have the DDP from when you check in on Saturday, until midnight of the day you check out. This is different from your scenario, in that checking in to a hotel at midnight or a little (actually several hours) later equals an additional room night. Generally, you can check in at 6 or 7 AM, whenever the reservation computer determines THAT day starts.

What Rhonda said is correct. You cannot check-in prior to when the hotel opens for business for that day, typically sometime after 4AM and sometimes as late as 6AM (or perhaps even 7AM). You Dining Plan credits would be valid from that point, until midnight after you check-out.
