DDP and side dishes at TS????

I was just looking at the menu for Shutters at CBR. They have entrees listed as just the meat, like a steak or piece of chicken. The side dishes are listed separately with prices. Does this mean we would only get the entree and dessert, no potato or rice?

The only restaurants I have ever eaten at that do not include sides, are high end steak places like Ruths Chris or Shulas. I'm willing to bet it is like most places where the entree is accompanied by a certain side, however; if you choose to just order a side, that is what you would be charged.

Are you looking at an actual menu from Shutters, or just a listing on Allears or similar site? If it's just from a non-official site, the menu may not be correct (nor matter how recent.) Very few of the purported menus matched the actual menus on our trips this year. And every Disney Table service restaurant we did in May 2008 & September 2008 on the DDP (regular, not deluxe) included some extras with the entree. All of the restaurants served some sort of specialty bread or rolls for starters (like the famous bread sticks at Le Cellier, Hawaiian bread at Kona Cafe, etc.) and every entree came with a veg & a potato or rice. Here's my reviews with pictures from September...if you scroll through you can see the entrees all came with something.

Some places will even let you sub your sides, like if you don't like rice they'll switch to the potatoes.

Places like shula's aren't even on the dining plan, are they?
