DDP and Raglan Road

We are planning on eating at Raglan Road after seeing La Nouba when when we go next August.... we will be on free dining.

So, my first question is - will RR be on the DDP for 2007 - I've heard some say yes, and some no?

And my second being, if it is, will I be able to order an appetizer for 2 as 1 appetizer on the DDP e.g. I order Smokey City and DBF orders the Crock o Pate? There are some yummy sounding things on the menu and I'll love to order 2 and share if we can?

I'm not sure whether RR has been added to the list for 2007. I don't think it has been finalized yet. Bicker has some good info on which locations have been added recently.

As for your other question - are you asking whether an appetizer that is listed as being for 2 people can be ordered by only 1 person, while the other person in the party orders a regular appy? If so, then the answer is no (unless you have a really lenient server). Some locations will allow 2 guests to order one appetizer intended for 2 people, some won't. But I can't think of a single place that allows one person to get an appetizer for 2 when on the DDP (or any of disney's dining packages).

RR no longer allows a guest to order the appetizer meant for 2 for 1 person. They changed their policy a couple of months ago.

That's a pity, as there's a real lack of appetizers for one person there - me and DBF can have quite different tastes.... its a pity they cant make a single size portion of things...

Both the goat cheese and the drunk chicken appetizers are very tasty.

As for entrees I would strongly recommend staying away from the Bangers and mash as well as Kevin's Bacon. To each their own but we found them to be inedible in Spetember (and no that isn't an exageration ) I think Raglan Rd has excellent appetizers and desserts but the entrees aren't to my taste at all.

RR is on 2007 DDP. When we went in July we could only order the 1 appetizer per person but our waitress said that 2 people together could order the 2 person app. on the DDP. We're going in June 2007. Can't wait! I love RR!

We ate there in Sept. on DDP and loved it! The food was great, though it was noisy.

My DM and I shared the Scallops Froest-served upright on forks. They were very tasty and were a 2 person appie-we shared them.

I have a review of our meal listed below, in my signature if you want to read, with pictures! I had the "It's Not Bleedin' Chowder" which was excellent and I would definitely have it again. Also, I would have the Bread 'n Butter Pudding-so good!

We were told when we were there that RR would not be on DDP in 2007 but since then I have been told otherwise.

I made our dining reservations today for May 2007 & was told Raglan Road would be on the Dining Plan next year. However, I won't really believe it until I see an updated brochure.

I loved Raglan Road for awhile but I think it's declined steadily with both service and food. I won't be sitting down to eat there for a long time. I would, however, probably sit at the bar and have a couple of pints and some goat cheese.

Yes, Raglan Road is on the DP for 2007. We also just made our ADR for May.
