When you purchase adult beverages or any OOP charges when doing the DDP, can you pay cash for them, or do the charges HAVE to go on your KTTW card?

We are renting DVC and I'm told only one person's charge card can be used for 'room key' purchases. So it would be easier for the four of us (single adults) to pay for our booze in cash! :drinking1

Thanks!

also only one persons credit card goes on the room key account but all cards can have charging priveledges.

It makes things a lot easier in my experience if you pay with room charges. I've been with friends at Disney who decided to pay cash. I was just able to hand my card to the server and tell them I'm on the DDP, and do a room charge for the drinks. The server came back with paperwork, and I was ready to go. My friend didn't have a card or cash ready, so the server dropped off his drink bill and left to deal with other tables. She came back a minute or two later and grabbed this bill and cash to go get change. She came back 3-4 minutes later carrying a huge tray of like 10 drinks, and dropped off his change.

It slowed my family down by about 8 minutes or so because he wanted to pay cash. What if the server was busy taking a meal order for a family of 15? That really would of slowed her down from getting our change.

Like I said, just do it with a room charge.

That actually makes a lot of sense Another Guy. I was planning on paying for drinks with cash but that seems like it would add more time to the process. I'm assuming the room bill will be itemized though so I can be sure it's accurate?

Room bills reflect the point of purchase but not the detail.

Thanks, I'll inform the crew and we'll probably do it this way. We can do 'pay backs' on the Wonder with 'drinks of the day'! :thumbsup2
