DDP and Illuminations

Can anyone shed any light on best option to have a lovely meal in prep of seeing fireworks at epcot?

It is usually listed that the best restaurants to see Illuminations from are Rose & Crown and La Hacienda. There are other restaurants that have a limited/obstructed views. For R&C, if you do not have a table with a view, there is a special viewing area that you can go out to and then return to the restaurant to finish your meal. I've not eaten at La Hacienda, so I don't know a lot about the view from there. Overall, if you eat at any of the other restaurants in WS, it is unlikely that you'll be able to see Illuminations from your table.

This isn't really about the dining plan but about choosing a restaurant based on its proximity to Illuminations, so moving it to the main dining board.
