I am going to try the DDP this trip but am concerned that it will be a nightmare trying to get CS during the week of Christmas to New Years. I'm sure this will also apply at any high season time. Any thoughts or suggestions :surfweb: :listen:

I would try to eat at off times. Maybe eat a large late breakfast or an early lunch right as lunch hours start. If you eat a larger breakfast, try eating lunch around 2pm instead.

If you can stagger your meals some, you should beat the noon rush some =)

People have to eat...If you are having a hard time you might want to book TS lunches and save the CS for dinners

I have TS dinners booked for each night. I even have some TS lunches booked OOP. I am not a big counter service person to begin with but I think that it will be very busy trying to get CS meals for lunch during Christmas week. That is why I am still on the fence over DDP. Is there a cancellation fee of $50, 45 days out? I was never told of that. We are DVC members.
