DDP and F&W Fest

We'll be on Free Dining during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. We've never been to the Fest. before. Can we use snack credits for the food booths? What about CS credits? ... Can we trade in a CS credit for like 3 things from the food booths and a drink?

I know you can definitely use snack credits at the booths. No trading of the CS credits though. Have fun! We ended up using all of our snack credits last year and had to pay OOP for everything else we wanted. I will hate it if they ever take that option away.

Last year snack credits could be used for any food item at any booth, regardless of the cost of that item, or any non-alcoholic beverage.

You won't be able to trade CS credits for snack credits. The booths will not accept CS credits, as they don't serve meals. In 2008 during free dining, it was possible to trade a TS credit for a CS meal plus snacks, but I believe you had to purchase the snacks at the same place as the CS meal.

We didn't. We were on the DxDDP last Sept. My mom was sick one day, so we stayed at the resort while my husband went to our lunch ADR. Later my mom and I decided to run over to the food court and get a CS meal. When we checked out, we were given two snack credit vouchers. We did not use them until our last day when we ran to DTD to use up all of our leftover snack credits at Goofy's. Now, we did use those snack vouchers at Goofys, several days after we received them, but I don't know if the kiosks that are there during the Food and Wine Festival would have accepted them. I don't see why not though.
