DDP and email/postcard booking

I just got a stitch email with 40% off on the room rate for select dates. Can I add DDP to these discounted rates?

Generally, the Dining Plan can only be added to specific, discounted MYW packages, and those are typically the ones that have only modest discounts. 40% is an incredibly deep discount. It would be great if they're allowing the Dining Plan to be added to that discount.

I just received the 40% discount code. Called my TA (who also is on the board), and was told that it is for room only. We are hoping for free DDP in Aug and would not be able to have two discounts, I think the DDP would be better. We have the package, room, tickets, and DDP and 1 night for room only so was able to get the discount for that night.

Where are you staying? I suspect a 40% discount would be better than free dining at deluxe hotels, under many circumstances.

I called and was able to book a Magic Kingdom View room at the CR for 5 nights with tickets and the dining plan. I saved about $1000 - which is actually a much better discount than I would get with free dining (for 3 adults for 5 nights free dining would save me about $585).

Needless to say I was thrilled to find out that it was not a room only code and the DDP could be added to this wonderful discount.

I was able to add the dining plan with my 40% off room reservation. I booked POR for 6 nights, 1 day base tickets, and dining plan. Total is $1813. for 4 Adults (kids are considered adult for tickets and meals). Never stayed on property before, but we are going to give it a whirl.

I booked for May 28 - June 2.

The CM I spoke to also told me that as long as I book by the cut off in March, I can use the code again for a reservation in one of the other weeks (so I'm also going December 9-15 - now I just need to decide where to stay!).

Hello, I'm new to these boards. I just found this site today. Could someone please explain to me where you can receive these discount codes. We are planning a trip for May and a discount would sure be great. Thanks for your help.

Tink, Try registerring for as much disney draws etc you can - We went to the world last May but I cant remember giving them my email then( we booked with CAA/AAA). Had to give our email to register for the various year of dreams contests.

I understand there is no science to when/how to get a code - seems to be some randomness.

For this email ( my first) it only has select dates - only time in May was May28-June3.


Get in their system and who knows ...
