DDP and DVC question

We are planning on renting points again for our next trip to disney in June 2007. Can you use DDP while renting points? If so, how do you set it up and how does it work? I wasn't sure if you could use the DDP with DVC but from what I have been reading on these boards it seems like you can. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

DDP for DVC must be set up through Member Services. It must be set up in advance & may not be paid until check-in. It must be reserved for all people staying in the villa for the entire length of the stay.

If you are renting, this must be done by the owner as MS will not talk to renters. I would inform the owner of your need for DDP when making your arangements so it can all be done with one phone call.

I know there's a minimum of three days for a Magic You Way package, but you raise a good question. Since a package isn't required to get the DDP at DVC resorts on points, can you get DDP for a one or two night stay?

OK, there is no minimum! You can add it to a one night stay...cool!
