We always do the DDP when traveling to Disney. We are considering staying CL at WL and I have heard that you shouldn't do the DDP if you are staying CL. Thoughts appreciated! Thanks!

I would say it depends on how much you like to eat, and what kind of dining experiences you're after. If you're expecting to eat a sit down meal and a counter service meal each day (or approximately each day), in addition to whatever you get from snacks at the CL, I'd still think it's worthwhile to get the DDP.

To be clear, the food from CL is not a meal replacement, with the possible exception of breakfast.

Another case where DDP might be a good option, even if you're not huge eaters, would be if you're planning on doing several 2TS options (Signature dining or dinner shows) and thus would only have half as many full sit down meals.

I did CL and Deluxe Dining on our last trip, and it was too much food - but I think the Deluxe Dining plan by itself is too much food (the three of us would never order 3 appetizers and 3 desserts at every meal in real life).

The regular dining plan along with CL would have been fine.
