can someone tell me what is the current price for the normal DDP, and the price for the quick service DDP if you're an AP holder?
also can someone give me the idiots guide ;) to the DDP for passholders? this is the first time i've actually looked into the DDP and although i know how it works in general, was wondering if there's any limitations/conditions on use for passholders?
thanks in advance

Prices for the dining plan are exactly the same for AP holders as they are for everyone else. There's no difference in the DDP itself for annual passholders.

The quick service DDP won't be available until January. Its price is $29.99 per night per adult and $8.99 per night per child age 3-9.

Basic dining for 2009 costs $39.99 per night per adult and $10.99 per night per child age 3-9.

The advantage to being an annual passholder is that you can book a room/dining package without having to purchase any park tickets at all. You might also be able to apply an annual passholder room discount to the package.

Exactly. Very well explained!

We're brand new to the DDP. Can someone explain something to me like I'm 2 years old?

We have APs. We also have a room-only reservation on a AAA rate for next year.

I *think* we can only add the regular or deluxe plans. Can we add the Disney Premium Dining Plan to our reservation, or do we have to be doing a room and ticket package?

TIA!!! :goodvibes

You can convert your reservation to a room/dining package, no tickets. But the reservation WILL become a package and will be then subject to the cancellation, change and deposit policies for packages. I know you could apply an AP discount room rate to the package but I don't know about the AAA rate. You'd have to call WDW and ask. You'd also have to ask if the Premium Plan (which is not a Dining Plan - it includes many things besides dining) is eligible for the room/dining package as I have never seen anyone state they wanted to book the Premium Plan this way.

WDW AP-ers can book a ticketless dine package through AAA. If it is a AAA package you want, then it has to be booked through AAA.
WDTC can book a ticketless AP dine package for you.
In the end your room only booking will need to be cancelled once you book a package. (I suggest booking the package you want and then cancelling the room only res.)
