Ddp 2014 $$$ ???

This is a great idea! And if you're afraid you won't spend all the money at WDW, you could put it on a Visa gift card instead and then use it anywhere, even at home if anything is left over!

Or if you're a regular visitor, use the leftover to put a deposit down on your next trip! That's what we did! :goodvibes

Footballmouse, TIW (Tables in Wonderland) is a dining discount card that annual passholders, DVC members and Florida residents can buy. The cost for passholders and DVC members is $100 and $125 for Fl residents. The card is good for a year and gives a 20% discounts at most Dis table service restaurants and a few counter service restaurants. It can also be used for "adult beverages". An 18% tip is automatically included when used at table service restaurants. TIW gives the flexibility of eating what you want, where you want and receiving a discount. We have found that by using TIW, we save several hundred dollars vs the cost of the DxDP. The Regular DDP doesn't work for us because we like having dinner at one of the signature restaurants each day. The break even point of using TIW and the cost of the card is $500 which we accomplish during the 1st few days of our trip. TIW just works better for us and the way we like to eat. The added bonus is having the card for other trips since it is good for a year. The website for TIW in case you are eligible to buy TIW is: http://www.tablesinwonderland.com I have discovered that when it comes to dining at Disney, everyone just needs to figure out what works best for them whether it is one of the dining plans, using TIW, or paying OOP. I hope this helps! :)

See, this is what always gets me. If you look at the pricing of the character buffets, it's not as expensive as people make it out to be.

Ohana breakfast in December is $26.62 pp including tax. So for your family of 5 Disney adults, that's $134, not $200. That's still a lot for breakfast, but it's a long way from $200.

AND the value of a DDP TS credit is $38, so if you get the DDP because someone said you need it if you want to do character meals, you're paying $11 MORE for this meal than if you paid OOP!!

For us and the time we are going its 33.01 a person for tusker house (the one we wanted) times that by five 165.05 plus the 18% tip 29.71 for a grand total of 194.76 for breakfast I wont do it..Now if it was free and I only paid tip, its worth it..:confused3 Now I am not putting down the dining plan, it works for a lot of people, but not for us..Free I will take it gladly but not to pay for it.
