Any rumers out there for any changes ? I would like to see 3 counter servies offered. DDP- I also like to see option of app or desserts. When your Diabetic one gets tired of sugar free icecream and fruit.

Does anyone know when we will be able to start hearing tidbits about next years DDP? It seems last year I was starting to hear on the Dis about the change with the apps and tips early summer. How does it get leaked out? I can't wait to hear because it gets me thinking about vacation. I don't think we will do the DDP again unless there are some major changes. For a party of 6 we ending up spending about $1,668.00 for 12 days. I think I missed the apps the most because if we were at non-buffets restaurants it was always entree, drink, and dessert. It took a lot of the fun out of the experience when we didn't get to try the new apps on the menu. I know we could have paid for them and we did twice but we already new what we were paying so you don't want to spend more. The deluxe plan is not an option because we just don't want to spend that much money or time on the plan. Some of you may think $46.34 is not that much a day which I believe it isn't, it is that we probably would not spend that much every day of our vacation. Disney really knows how to make a plan work for them. I'm sure all of us would like to cherry pick the plan and make it work just for us.

I totally agree! I would love to try the DXDDp, but it is just too much money for food!! To upgrade from Regular to Deluxe for us would be over $800 more for our November trip. We will just have to pay for a few appetizers OOP.
