If you are planning on getting the DDE Card ~ they are now 8 weeks behind in getting them out!

They will be sending a letter which will allow you to use the discount before the actual card arrives.

I ordered mine March 11 for my May 9th trip, so it will be interesting to see if I get the card before I leave. I did receive the e-mail letter but it states it is only valid through april 2005. Guess I'll have to call and request another letter if I don't get the card in time.

There's a thread on the restaurant board that says that they aren't sending the email any longer and that if you don't have the card before your trip you can pick up a temporary card at Guest Services at Epcot.

It is a great deal though. We saved a lot on our trip at the end of January.

Katypop Check that it's not April 2006. I ordered our DDE card the first week of Mar. for our May 2005 trip. Our email says valid through May 31 2005 and our DDE card is valid through April 30th 2006.

Hi Poohbear My e-mail letter says it is good through April 2005.I'm guessing they thought I would have my card before May. I haven't received the card yet but was told it would be good through April 2006.Have you received your card yet? That would be good news if you have, mine should be coming soon

Good thing I am not going until December. Glad to know it is taking that long though so I don't start to stress after a few weeks.

We have received ours but the names are both wrong! We realized that the spelling of both names was wrong when we received the first email which was corrected but obviously this correction wasn't passed on. Sigh. One restaurant when we were there in February actually checked our id so we do need to get corrected ones. Couldn't believe that both names were wrong though! Oh well, it's worth the discount though.

Well, my e-mail expired april 30 and my trip begins May 9 , so I called a few days ago and they are sending a letter to Guest services at Epcot for me...so I changed my PS that day to an Epcot restaurant...and today I received my DDE card Yipee

You were right Scratch It took just a few days less than 8 weeks from the day I ordered it. Originally I was told it would be good until Apr30/06 but the card actually says May31/06 Oh dear, I really should plan just one more trip next May before it expires

DDE is Disney Dining Card. You can purchase it for $75.00 , but only $50.00 if you have an Annual Pass for wdw. This is a new discount for us AP holders, so a lot of us are purchasing the card this year It is good for one year and entitles you and your party of up to 9 (??? or is it more now???) a 20% discount at many restaurants at the resorts and in the parks at wdw.

I order mine Mar 8th and I received it yesterday. I used the email letter on our trip last week and had no problem. By the way we used it at Wolfgang Puck's at DTD.It's not on the list.

Do you Guys think that paying the $75 worth it. Sorry I'm not to good at math so I'm trying to figure out how many meals we'd have to have to make it worth it. My math wiz is at work right now so any info would be appreciated. We are staying at All Star Movies so we'd likely eat there most mornings. Also can you use it as a discount for Donald's breakfast? There's four in my family if this helps and we are there for nine nights. Thanks Kat

I ordered mine today and hope it will come before Jun21 st, but they will send a confirmation letter to cover until we get it in the mail. By the way digskat the card is $50 not $75....I believe it used to be $75 but has been decreased as a special for annual passholders. I think with four in the family you probably will save with the card.
