Has anyone ordered or renewed their DDE card recently? How long is it taking to receive it? I forgot to renew mine and my trip is only a month away. Was wodering if I should call asap or just wait and purchase it when I get there.

You can order now, but not sure if they'd mail it this close to your date or just have you pick it up at Guest Relations anyway. If you wait to purchase when you get there, your expiration date should be that much later. That may be better for you than renewing earlier. FWIW.

I renewed late December for a January card. It came in 2 weeks. The only nice part about ordering for a card vs pickup at guest services is that the card you get when you order is still the hard plastic cc type card. The pick up card is the paper/ap type card. We had time and our dates worked for us. We needed a Jan 09 expiration so that's why we ordered by phone, but you need to crunch your dates to get the best usage. Next year I think we'll be picking up since our trip would be in late April 09 and would want a May 10 expiration date.

My card came in 2 weeks.That was from the time I faxed until I had it in my hands. I also live in Florida, so the mail may have been a little quicker.
