We will be going to WDW in 11 days. We are going for cheerleading so we have a package with passes. I am planning on upgrading our passes when we get there because we are staying longer than the package allows. If I upgrade one of our passes to an AP and I get the DDE from guest services or is that something I need to get ahead of time?

You'll be fine. As of a couple months ago they changed it so that you can get DDE at Guest Relations.

You must be 21 to get the DDE, so make sure that the ticket you upgrade to an AP is for an adult over 21.
