Can someone please help me? I have asked this before but never seem to get a for sure answer.
I have an AP that expires in the middle of our trip. I was not planning on renewing at this time- since it looks like no room discounts and our next trip will be more than 12 months. My DDE expires the end of May(boy I love that thing Drinks and Food discount ) So the big ?
Can I renew my DDE now(valid AP) and then use it after my AP expires?

Hmmm, that is a great question, I hope someone can give you a definitive answer. I am pretty sure you can...I mean, they don't expect people to necessarily purchase the DDE and their AP at exactly the same time, so it makes sense that the DDE would expire AFTER the AP. Plus, everytime I use my DDE I am never asked for ID or proof of anything. I would think you are safe in renewing your DDE, but I do not know this as fact...just saying if I were in your shoes I would do it.

You can get a DDE with an AP and the dates don't need to match. If the DDE expires after the AP expires that is fine, you do not have to show the AP to use the DDE and you can carry on using it.

Howwever, you have said the DDE expires at the end of May, but you have not said when the AP expires (just that it is during your next trip), I think, if you try renewing the DDE before the DDE expires you may have a problem. If the DDE expires before the AP expires then I don't think there will be a problem.

sorry I wasn't so clear= DDE expires before my AP does. So I am going to renew it and hope for the best. That was my favorite perk with the AP!

My DDE expired at the end of December. My AP expired in late December. I did not renew my AP but I did renew my DDE in early December before my AP expired. My current DDE is good until 1/31/08.
