We will be traveling over Easter with our 2 sons and 6 of their friends, ranging in age from 16 - 18. We will be staying in a grand villa at SSR for 6 nights, so we will have a full kitchen (not like I plan on cooking though!).

We already have the DDE card, and our plan was that we would foot the bill for one sit down dinner each day. We would also have cereal and other quick breakfast foods available in the room for the boys. The only time they would actually have to purchase food would be if they wanted to buy lunch or snacks during the day.

We have never done the dining plan before, and I was wondering if this might work out better for us. We have also never traveled with such a large party before. We already have reservations at the following places:
Turf Club
Teppanyaki (doesn't take DDE)
Crystal Palace (increased rate of $32.00 per person during Easter week)
50s Prime Time
Kona Cafe (breakfast)
We also plan to eat at ESPN and Beaches and Cream

Does anyone have anything to share that might help me decide if we should add the dining plan to our reservation? Or would we be better off just sticking with the DDE? I would greatly appreciate your advice!

DDE isn't accepted on Easter Sunday, it's a blackout day. Wherever you planned to eat that day, don't figure any DDE savings for it.
