DDE Restaurants

We are looking into purchasing at the $75.00 rate as we are not AP holders, but before I do purchase I want to see a list of restaurants/meal times that the DDE applies to. Anyone have or know of where to find the list? TIA

I believe allearsnet.com has one listed. It's a great deal! We pretty much made back the purchase price on our trip last month between breakfast at Chef Mickey's and lunch at Le Cellier and Momma Melrose's! (4 adults)

It has been reported on several threads that your MUST be a FL resident or an AP holder to join the DDE plan, and that they are now asking for the codes from the back of your activated AP.

The previously reported ability for non-residents to purchase the card for $75 was in error and due to a few untrained CMs brought in to help the DDE staff with the crush of inquiries.

We purchased our DDE card before it was offered at the $50 rate. We had no problem having it pay for itself in the first long weekend trip.

It is good almost anywhere you want to eat..almost, and it includes the alcohol on the bill, which is even nicer. That is always a big chunk of the bill when having wine or drinks with dinner.

Is it a missprint or is the Japanese Steakhouse at Epcot NOT COVERED under the DDE card?

That would be unfortunate!

It does not cover resort foodcourts if there is a sit down restraurant at that resort. You can use it at foodcourts at the A/S and Pop and French Quarters only.

The restaurants in the Japan pavilion rarely participate in any meal or discount plans. They are not operated by Disney, and apparently are busy enough that they don't feel they ned to offer a discount.

It is also good at counter service locations in AK, as that park does not have any sit down type restaurants.
