DDE question

I have a question for anyone who has recently gotten their DDE cards. If I were to get my card this month, would the expiration be April 2006 or May 2006?

Also, how long have cards recently been taking to arrive?

I ordered my card last month and they sent me a letter on the offchance I would not have to card. On the letter it says I am a member through April 2006. (I ordered it at the beginning of March). They also have yet to charge my credit card. I guess when they do, I know it will be coming!!

I ordered mine last Friday (Apr 1) and the expiry date is May 31, 2006.

So let me get this straight??? The DDE is activated as soon as it arrives to you & the AP is activated at the park, correct? If so you should buy the AP anytime before you go but the DDE you should buy only right before you go. Is that right? Thx

You have to have at least your AP voucher in your hand before you can order the DDE card.. They need a number off the back of it for you to order the DDE card

What about will call for your ap. Say you have waited for a code to come up to the last minute of your trip and you have to get an ap as a last resort they tell you you will have it "will call" and you want the DDE also. Has anyone came across this? Will they give you an id number so you can get the DDE? It's been a while since we had a will call and I need a refresher course.

Someone mentioned calling DDE from WDW once you get your AP and they will fax the letter to your resort?

So I called this AM to get my card and gave them all my info (my AP is active). They told me 8 weeks to get the card. I did get my email from them already that is basically a word document that you print out and carry around. It was all really easy. And my exp is 05/31/2006. I'm sure I'll get my money's worth on this one....

Hi! I ordered my DDE discount card today about 1 hour ago. I was informed that the card would arrive in 8 weeks. They emailed me a validation letter to take with us to the restaurants. It states that the 20% discount and an expiration date of May 31, 2006.
