DDE Question

We have had WDW APs and PAPs for probably 4 years. They have always been name specific. Your name will be printed on the back of your AP, along with the expiration date and where you picked up your card. At least everyone we have owned has.
I have never ordered or renewed a DDE card from a voucher. So I don't know if your DH's name is specifically on it and tied to him only. (I would guess it is.)
In theory if it is in his name, and you are ordering the DDE because of his AP, then the DDE card would be in his name too. An extra card with your name would be the extra fee.
I don't know if they will figure out at DDE that you are using his AP to order a DDE card under your name. I would not be surprised if they do. Just be prepared for that.
I don't know when you plan to buy your AP. Maybe you could just wait until then and order your DDE too.
We both have FL PAPs that are good until the first part of next year.
Currently the DDE card is under my name. I won't be renewing my PAP, but DH will his.
Next year I will need to renew the DDE card under his name.

I use to occasionally have a CM ask for a FL driver's license when I used the DDE card. But that was before it was open to all AP-ers.
I suppose now ID is not an issue because the card is under my name and I use my debit card to pay. The name's match, so no point in ID.

We got our DDE by being a FL resident, but we've never been asked for an ID before.

Just to clarify, no the vouchers are not name specific. We have done this before, both buying our vouchers at the Disney Store, then when we get our APs and activate them at the parks, the actual AP is name specific. I was just wondering if they would compare the AP to the DDE card when using it, but it sounds as if they dont. :)

They don't compare my AP with my DDE. And again, this is only in my case since my DDE card and the name on my card match. If the names between the two do not match, I can't say what happens from personal experience.
