DDE option buying Ap at park?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to purchase AP's at park on arrival and then purchase DDE and be able to use it right away? It seems like everyone is getting their AP vouchers in mail and then ordering and having to wait for DDE card. As I am only 2 weeks out from my trip (and just realized what DDE option was... and interested in using it) - I am curious if this is possible.

You cannot get it in person. You could call the DDE phone # after you get the AP and have the fax the confirmation to the front desk of your hotel. DDE is only open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
