Does anyone know, with the Disney Dining Experience, it states its not valid on holidays...is it specifically on a holiday, like Thanksgiving day, or it is not valid for a period of time around a holiday as well? Thanks!

Certain restrictions apply during holidays and special events, please check with the restaurant when you make your reservation. Blackout dates include major holidays: Mother's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.

I called to ask that exact question. I was told it is only the actual holidays that are blacked out. So you can use the DDE on Friday after thanksgiving!

We used ours last Christmas, Dec. 27th, 28th, etc. without problems. FWIW.

We went the few days before Easter and the week after. The only day it was not accepted was Easter. All the other days were fine.
