DDE card

It is available to Florida residents and AP holders. You pay $50 for the card. You get 20 percent off dining at a lot of the WDW restaurants. We use ours all the time. I love it.

What is this?? Is it a discount card that you buy???

It is a discount dining card for FL residents or AP holders. You save 20% off meals at participating restaurants. I got mine last November, and DD and I (and guests) have enjoyed many many meals, as discounted prices.

DISNEY'S DINING EXPERIENCE is a dining discount program for eligible Florida residents and annual passholders 21 and older good for 20 percent off food and beverage at a number of Walt Disney World Resort hotel and theme park restaurants and lounges. (Prior to 2005, the DDE, as it is commonly called, was only open to Florida residents.)

-- General Membership (Florida Residents ONLY): $85.00
-- Annual/Seasonal Passholders' Rate: $60.00
-- Florida Resident (non-Passholder) Renewals: $70.00 (for existing memberships received within 30 days of expiration date)

If you're eligible to use it, I recommend the DDE card very highly. We saved over $300 on it during our last trip, and we'll still be able to use it again in September and January before it expires. Well worth the money, and we found it to be less hassle than the dining plan.
