DDE/AP expiration

My AP expires before my DDE. Do I need the new AP number to renew the DDE? Do they ask for it?

Yes you do need a current AP number in order to renew the DDE.....I just did it earlier this week and they do ask for your current AP number.

You can also get the DDE card with your AP voucher. I just did this earlier this week.
