DDE and Thanksgiving week

The DDe card says it's not valid on Thanksgiving Day. Someone posted that many of the restaurants are not going to be honoring the DDE at all that week. Does anyone know more info about this? Any ideas who I can call? I have ADRs for that week and will cancel and go counter service if this is the case.

We are going to be there that week also. There was a thread a few weeks ago where someone posted that they called and that the DDE would be valid that week except Thanksgiving DAY. I hope it's true.

We were there last Thanksgiving for the week and it was honored the whole time except of course for Thanksgiving day.

Blackout dates include major holidays: Mother's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.

I called & asked a couple days ago. It's just the day, not the whole week (thank goodness,we're going over Christmas and we already won't be able to use it for 2 days!!).

We were there last Thanksgiving and used the card every day. We didn't eat at a Disney restaurant on Thanksgiving Day itself, since I made a dinner in our kitchen at Old Key West. Some of our best friends were flying in that day and we wanted to have a special dinner waiting for them when they arrived. I'm sure they honored the DDE card the remainder of our trip.
