DDE and mothers day

I know the DDE cannot be used on mothers day but is it just this day it cannot be used or the whole weekend?

Officially just that day. But there is fine print in the DDE rules suggesting restaurants CAN expand the listed blackout dates. Apparently it's up to the individual restaurant...

I agree, it's only that day, but always ASK. We have found many times that even though the DDE is blacked out, it is usually up to the restraurant. We ate at Trails End on mother's day once and when we asked about the dde discount we were told no problem and that it's only certain restraurants that have the blackout.
