DDE and FDP

I am sure this has been asked MANY times, but I am not in the know here.

Can I use the DDE for the Fantasmic Dinner Package? When we went last summer we were NOT able to, but I thought I remember reading posts saything that the policy had been changed. Am I right or just out of my Disney mind? Thanks!

Not that I know of. When I book the meal I specifically say not the pkg. because I know I wouldnt get my dde discount. On one occasion we did get free tickets for fantasmic. I really dont know if it was a mistake or if it was dh complaining that we had to wait 45 minutes for our adr when we showed up on time, they were so overbooked.
