DDE and DDP

Hi,
In the past, I have used the DDE since I have an AP and have had room ressies for room only, no packages. I have recently booked the buy 4 night get 3 free package. I had to get a one day park pass in order to book this pkg. So, what I am wondering is this...I am able to add the dining package since I have booked a package, and I think it looks like a good deal for me. BUT...since I also have the DDE card, can I ask for alcoholic drinks to be put on a seperate bill at the different restauarants so I can still get the 20% discount on them???

Yes. They'll put them on a separate bill anyway because they're not included in the dining plan.

Just for future reference you can now add the dining plan to a room only reservation now as long as you have an AP. (this does make it a package, with package conditions) As for you question, no personal experience yet, but from everything I have read here you can use the DDE for all paid out of pocket food/alcohol at participating restaurants.

From what I have seen, you cannot book an AP package with the 7 for 4 (3 nights free) deal. You must buy theme park tickets with that package.

It's the same with the free dining promotion - you must book a room/tickets package to get it.
