We are going to WDW in a couple of weeks and traveling with a large party (8) so I was considering getting one AP among the group just in order to qualify for DDE. It is, of course, cheaper to upgrade my DD (3) to AP than one of the adults. My question is, can she then qualify for DDE, or do they require the DDE person to be an adult? Thanks!

The DDE card requires the holder to be 21 years old and can only be ordered with an adult pass.

From the AP website:

You must 21 years of age to purchase.
†Remember: If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.
°The second membership card is for spouses and partners only, not other family members.
The Disney Dining Experience discount will not be offered during special events. Please check with the restaurant when making reservations.
The Disney Dining Experience discount cannot be combined with any other discount or package. This includes events such as Fantasmic Dinner Package, Epcot Food and Wine Festival Events, and Candlelight Dinner Packages

Thanks, I can't access the Disney website from work :confused3 so I hadn't seen that. Well, now I just need to decide if I think DH will drink enough alcohol throughout the week to justify the price!
