What's up, Gents! Well, I slept in and didn't make it down Cape this morning for some sunrise pics, little annoyed, but I did, however, make it down to the town dock and got some pics, which isn't far from where I live. There were no clouds, so no pretty colors, but I did get some pics, see below. I think if I had made the trip down Cape, about an hour to where I wanted to go, and there were no clouds to bounce the colors off of, or colours, for those who spell it that way, I'd been annoyed. Having a great day off today. DD slept at Nana's last night, so the Mrs. and I had a date night last night, and with the Mrs. at a couple of gigs, I got to do some work around the house. No, really, I did. Stop laughing. Laundry's done and cleaning is coming along quite nicely. Not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow, but it'll be with the family. Well, have a good day, gents.

Meet Chewie, the dog, not the guy piloting the boat. According to his owner, Chewie loves to go boating.
We all have our own set of standard operating procedures.

Wait! There's an SoP?! You mean I've been winging it this whole time and I didn't have to?
You most certainly should.
I suspect you're better at it then you let on as well.
And if you think of it, share a few 'round here. I'd love to see some.
I know I'd love to see some pics.
As for advice...
There's this crazy Martian who's always trying to find ways of removing (read: blow up) anything that obstructs his view of Jupiter (or what ever else might be the object of his inquiries). He'll have some pretty good tips when it comes to photography.
Yeah, Marvin's crazy.
Getting up for some sunrise pics Down Cape might be helpful.
And we'd get to see some of the handy work.
I slept in a little too late, but I did get up.
Morning guys from an overcast London. Thoughts and vibes to anyone affected by those awful events 20 years ago. Still seems like it was yesterday, watching it with our hand over our mouths.
Sorry guys, I wasn't doing a Johnny Big Bananas. I'm building a new store there, so it's a work trip, I should be out there about 4 times in the next few weeks. Barcelona, Madrid and Paris are very easy for us, it would be like you guys going to New York or Vancouver. You can fly there for less than 60 quid, and have a 4 star hotel weekend for less than couple of hundred. But these ones are freebies. My mob are also very generous in their travel allowances.
I was working from 8-6 building stuff in 32 degrees and, as we about a third of the way through building the store, no air con. If we could all take a moment to remember my underwear. It didn't make it.
Still, that's a nice business trip.

Have a good day fellas, and let's raise one tonight to those who look after us on the front line.

I have a few beers being chilled as we speak.
Well, once again it's been some time since I posted. I guess that's just how I roll now.
Wanted to say hello and in case
@declansdad or
@pkondz happened to notice on Canadian news, my hometown got hit with a hurricane last night. (Hurricane Larry - sounds more like an annoying cousin coming to visit rather than a weather bomb).
Wasn't too much rain but pretty nasty winds - category 1. Got up around 140 km/hr, or 87 mph The house was shaking and creaking which kept me up most of the night. Felling tired today but at least the winds have died down and the sun is out right now.
Everything is OK with my place. I lost a tree in the back yard. Neighbours lost trees as well and one guy had his fence blow down. But as they say it could always be worse.
I can't imagine how much worse a category 3 or 4 must be. I hope I never have to experience it.
Thats all I got for now guys. Hope you are all doing well. Keep the drinks cold for me until I come 'round again.
Glad to hear all is well with you and your neighbors.
