Morning, Gents, from a rainy Cape Cod. We FINALLY got some rain this past weekend! I had to reschedule a senior portrait session because of it, but it was worth it because we need it. Not much going on this past weekend, so now on to week 4. Oh, didn't tell you guys. So the paralegal that was supposed to be training me, and showing me what she does, which really didn't do any of that because she was too buys....anyways, she showed up on Friday morning, sent out a few emails at around 6 am, and then left. So I walked in at 8 am hoping to ask a few hundred questions and she's no where to be found. Turns out she decided to cut her last day short. So I spent the day changing desks and going through files. Now the position is officially mine. Well, off to start the day, see you on the other side.
TTFN
Tuesday was my Friday. Today's my Sunday of a long weekend.
Ah, you have one of those schedules. I use to have a schedule like that years ago and always went back and forth about whether I like it or not. I liked it because there's so much I could do. Yet didn't like because all my friends were working and couldn't do anything.
I'm sure you'll be great.
Thanks! Now that the position is officially mine, I've been talking to my attorney about how she wants things done, like if the last paralegal did something that irritated her, I could it differently....that kind of stuff. Hopefully that goes over well.
That sounds terrific. I could use a day like that.
I was so looking forward to relaxing and watching a movie, but instead I fell asleep in my chair.
I was pretty sure you were... and yet... there are a lot of people out there who really don't get why a mask may help prevent the spread of a virus, but still allows you to breathe.
It's the origin of the vampires. Humans getting a cold after midnight, similar to Gremlins.
And God forbid you knew how to use herbs...then you'd be branded a witch.
Morning all. We can't catch a break from 2020. DW's 94 year old grandmother fell and broke her arm, the break that goes thru the skin. She had surgery and is recovering, in the hospital, and the family is now fighting over who will help care for her going forward.
So sorry to hear, that man. I'll say a prayer for a speedy recovery.
If anyone is interested in joining in, here is the link to the Zoom room. Should be there in about 30 minutes.

I wasn't the tallest, not the youngest, probably the fatest, but was still the champion. 2nd overall in qualifying points and three consecutive wins in the playoffs.
Congrat!
Morning guys
I had a pretty good day yesterday. I convinced DW to come out on a hike with me. We did another part of the East coast trail called Beaches Path.
Wife didn’t go as far as I hoped (isn’t that always the problem...ahem) but we did manage about 3km. Keeping in mind that’s over rough terrain and DW isn’t a hiker, it wasn’t too bad.
I’ll post a couple pictures, let’s see if they come out sideways again.

Nice! That must have been beautiful to walk.
Afternoon all. So, in today's what else can happen 2020, I met with my pastor to give him 2 weeks notice about working at the new job. He asked to give him a week, and he'd like to make me an offer for more hours and stay working at the Church. Not sure how I feel at the moment. I wouldn't have applied for another job if he had made an offer in the first place. We set a meeting for Friday, so I can at least wait 5 days to hear him out.
That's always the case, you get an offer somewhere and another one comes along. That's how it happened with me just recently. I got an offer with the post office, then my temp job offered me a position, and then where I'm working now. Always happens like that. Well, congrats on the offer, and let us know what you decide.
