At least you didn't nail everything to the ceiling like last time. I did have to search a bit to find the beer fridge, but now that that's located, the rest is fairly inconsequential.

As for myself, well...
Let's just say there are a whole lot of things that are gonn'a need to be figured out and go on from there (don't wan'na be doin' too much complaining right off the bat, ya' know).

Do hope all are well here, and I'm hoping to be able to jump in just a mite more often. That'll do, for now I suppose.

Hello gents from the airport. On my way to the Lone Star State (after a quick layover in the centre of the universe).
All business this trip so my biggest goal is to get some decent Texas barbecue. Not sure I’ll see or do much else besides work stuff. Only have two evenings free since Thursday is scheduled to be a business dinner...yay. And Wednesday is possibly busy too since I have a presentation to do for Thursday morning.

Could be better, but that describes many more folk then myself.

As for FB - I've probably commented there about five more time then here in the last six months, so I wouldn't consider myself to be much an active participant. Read... yes, comment... well, I always feel like whoever's talking, generally ain't talking to me and don't much want to her what I've got to say.

Evening gents,tomorrow is our fast pass window.I now have to decide one way or another on which reservation to keep.currently have both the dark side and Disney booked for 8 nights.(I was able to get in on the “free” dining offer )

Texas Monthly comes out with a regular ranking of the 50 best BBQ joints in the state. I'd check that out to see if any are close by where you will be.

I did the dining plan ONCE. Granted, it wasn't free, but I have no intentions of doing it again.

There are several places online where it discusses if it's valuable or not and it really does boil down to how likely is EVERYONE in your party going to eating a lot or high cost items. When I did it, my kids were younger and didn't eat much, so I lost money. Also, as with you Jeff, most people end up taking a bunch of snacks home because they simply can't use them all. I'm not a big soda drinker and DW doesn't like Coke, so the refillable mugs are pretty much a waste. I suppose now, I could at least get powerade instead of soda, but I'm not sure all machines have that.

For me, personally, I like the flexibility of sitting down for a meal and not having to worry about is this covered under the plan or do I have to use two credits or am I wasting a credit. If I want a big meal, I have it. If I'm not that hungry, I get something light.

Obviously, this has to be decided based on your family's style and preference.

I am not a fan of the dining plan or dining in general at disney world.
we did the plan once before and it cost us more than when we pay out of pocket for our meals.this year just came down to economics,the offer with the plan saves us money in the long run over the room only discount.
