Kid gets her braces off today. She's had them for a few years now. Wonder if I'll recognize her. Maybe I'll come home with the wrong kid.
If so, hopefully it'll be one who enjoys doing chores around the house.

I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part!

Had a nice late lunch out with fajitas and an adult beverage. Leftovers for dinner. Tomorrow, it is breakfast out and then a haircut. Trying to take advantage that the weather has improved for a couple of days.

Happy Wednesday. DW asked be to pick up some French toast ingredients today, so I went thru the grocery store pushing a cart and no crutch. Still limped and still hurt, but I guess that's progress.

My oldest dd got her braces off her top teeth last month and a retainer, but her bottom teeth still has braces. The retainer is blue. And no, whatever teenager you bring home won't enjoy doing any chores.

Some fairly significant wins around the state, but not enough for a change in November. So, it depends upon the June court case. On the bright side, I told DW that now is the time for me to look for a job in Florida. If I walk in with the crutch, I can claim disability discrimination if I don't get the job.

Since it seems like it will be hit and miss rainy season at WDW next week, I have taken something out of (My little notebook). Since I will have a few newbies to WDW with me, if it rains while we are in MK I will have to take them on my monorail loop hotel history tour. This lesson will consist on how Richard Nixon, John Lennon, & The Beach Boys have all had a Historic or Dis History moment in a monorail hotel ( each one was a separate hotel) If nothing else when we get home 3 of them (millennials) will probably try to prove me wrong and I'm totally fine with that because BAM they are going to learn something

Morning All.

Had a wild weather day here yesterday. Nice and warm in the morning only to get cold as the day went on. Early in the afternoon it sounded like a hurricane coming through with major winds, rain and hail. I watched 2 trees come down in our backyard as well as the tops off two others. And then the power went out for about 5 hours. It was crazy.

Hope today is a much better day weather wise and the weather is good for the weekend. We are off to a the first of three summer basketball tournaments that DS will playing in.
