My DW and DDs were arguing last night. This morning SHE is still ticked.

Yea, lots of that in my house as well. DW is all into the girls making As, but my oldest is lazy and disinterested in school. I'm more concerned with her picking a career she enjoys and moving away from this small town life.

It's been a fairly quiet day, and better, a quiet Friday.
I may have to try and sneak out of here a little early this afternoon.

Thanks Randall. The day that list came out showed us why we won't be including a few days at Disney before our Christmas cruise this year. Between the basketball stuff and the budget we were given that night for his travel soccer team, it's going to be an expensive summer. All good though, wouldn't take any of it away from him.

That'd surly be helpful. You are going to be busy and a might impoverished but I agree that it will all be well worth it. At least that's what I keep telling myself every time I white out a tuition check, so it's probably a similar situation.

Good thing you waited to hear what the correct answer was supposed to bo before offering one that wasn't going to fit the situation. But then again, we all know who's really in charge in any household. May a bit of piece descend upon you house (and mine too for that matter).

Happy Derby Day, especially to all our Kentucky dads! Making Burgoo today? A very good friend of mine and Kentucky native really enjoyed Derby Day with friends no matter where he was. He passed away two years ago so when they are singing, "My old Kentuky home," I will be raising a glass in his honor.

Heat broke and the storms are mostly gone so it is an absolutely beautiful day. Errands to run and then maybe break out the grill.

My pick for the Derby is what I hope to do... Carpe Diem. If you wagering, I suggest you place a bet on another horse.

Afternoon gents, sorry I'm a bit late checking in this morning but the Hawks game was a late one last night and as soon as I got up and about hit the yard work as it is some great weather here. Hawks pulled another one out last night but not without giving me heart palpitations. Hanging out on the patio with a cigar a cold beverage with DW and heading to see Avengers with DS later this afternoon.

Unfortunately, no derby for me - youngest has soccer game. It will be the first derby I missed in a long time. I haven't been in years,but I still watched on tv.
