Heading to the Celtics tonight with DS. Plans for the AFC Championship on Sunday as well. They were nice enough to start the game after the sun goes down to make sure we didn't get too warm. Should be a good game. I am guessing Patriots by 13.

Never got a valid response on the DVC, looking for an alternate now. I can guarantee it won't be at the Poly. Did you see those prices and the points it would take to stay there?

Top O the Morning Dads! DD had whats called a White Coat Ceremony at school yesterday afternoon. Its when students in medical / dental majors go from pre-clinical to clinicals level. A bit bummed as it was at 4:00 in the afternoon which would result in 2 days out of the office at the start of the year which is past tough. How about a Friday at 4:00? DW and MIL were able to go though and stayed overnight to celebrate and take the girl out to dinner. Here's my girl, they grow up fast guys

For all of you Dads interested in attending next year's DDCC 4. The official dates for Marathon weekend are January 6-10, 2016.

Registration for RunDisney events for that weekend open on April 28th, 2015 at Midnight.

It's never too early to start planning!

Now if I could only find a way to convince my boss, DW and the IRS to let me go.

Hoping they let Visa card holders register early again... Already talked to DW about next year. She saw how bummed I was over the weekend and yesterday, so she's given the green light.

I look that way every Monday.

Having severe Disney withdrawal syndrome right now. Skies are overcast and it is drizzling. Not a "Come to Florida" touristy picture. Need to start planning for the next trips. Thinking Food and Wine and of course Marathon Weekend. 2015 is not going to be the Disney intensive year 2014 was.

Wow. Isn't 1 DVC AP $450?

I think that's a Premium Annual Pass for DVC. We got 4 of those guys. CJ was referring to weekday annual passes. Ya know b\c that guy can stop by WDW as if he were just popping into a convenience store for milk.

The pass is highly restrictive, no weekends and a lot of blackout dates. You basically can't use it from June to August, the last half of December and of course major holidays. Still, it works for us and is cheaper than the current 4 day pass promotion. I think last year I got about 15-20 days on the pass which works out to a cheap per day admission.

I wish I could just pop in to say hello to Mickey. Can't really complain though. I realize I have it better than most Disney fans.

Cost of renewing two WDW Florida Resident Weekday Annual Passes ---- $394

Cost of boarding two dogs for one week, including the mutt I did not want ---- $360

Something is wrong here.

Another reason to set up residence on CJ's lawn, low cost AP's.

Take the dogs with you. You can tell them they are service dogs. Should be easy to believe at your age.

I might take overcast and drizzling right now as long as it's above 40F.

I hear you on the Disney withdrawal. Waiting for that 180 day mark in February to start planning the August ADR's. That's about the only thing that's going to help get through this winter. We have had very little snow, but the cold, rain and basic lack of sun has most people ready for spring already.

I may need to be in the Miami area in March for a few days to meet with customers. I'll let you know as soon as I can get final commitments. They are trying to decide if they want to come to our location or for us to go there. Seriously?!? Boston or Miami on March? What decision needs to be made.

Top O the Morning Dads! Snow dusting and some patchy ice this morning which up north is nothing but the hills here make it a bit tough driving - will be melted by 10:00 a.m. Made first dining reservation for DL trip in March _ House of Blues as they do St Pats celebration with corn beef while we are there. Unlike WDW, DL is 60 days out and you can't book for your whole trip, have to do it 1 per day.

I hear ya! Got over ours pretty quick with spring break DL final planning / scheduling. Talking to DS last night that as of now we are not looking to go to WDW at Christmas and only soft plans for next trip would be May / June 2016 for SW Weekends and to celebrate DS HS graduation. We do have a DCL trip in July but this may be one of our longer stretches between WDW trips. We have been pretty fortunate but it don't grow on trees, college, and with the kids getting older and their schedules just tougher to go as much.
