I have been a Disney fanatic since the mid 70's. We have 5 children and the only one left in the house is our 6 year old. I'm originally from CT, moved to Vermont for about 20 years and had to get away from the cold and the expense of the Northeast. We moved to Winter Springs, FL (only 30 minutes from what I call the center of the universe) and are annual passholders. BTY, I'm not a Patriots fan!! Go Falcons!!!!

Should have an excellent shot at the U16 team, he has an outside shot at the Canada Games team. The provincial group he played with last summer was made up of most of the Canada Games athletes. He did well with that group so I think he may be on the radar.

Hope he makes it. That would be pretty cool.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday gents! Hoping for a good game and though CJ won't like this would be cool to see a QB and coach win 5 for the first time.

Been doing a whole lot of nothing. Watching hockey, a couple of movies, some PS4, a nap here or there and sat outside yesterday with a little music going while reading. Got som SB snacks / food and just gonna watch a hopefullly good game to wind it down.

Hello guys. I am finally heading home today after my month long work rotation overseas (southeast Asia for anyone who doesn't know). Can't wait to get back and see the family.

Welcome (?) to the club. Oldest DD had a boyfriend last year for 4-5 months but has stayed away from it for a while, long enough for my blood pressure to go down at least. She just started bringing another guy around this month. Not too serious yet (I presume, but they really don't tell you much). Of course I don't like it, but she's turning 17 next month and there's not much I can do about it. Got to let them go sometime.

Safe travels and look at the good side, DD is at least bring the young around for you to get to know him.

Another win for DS and his buddies, 96-67 over the #1 ranked team from the Southern Conference. Both games today have allowed for the starters to get lots of rest and tonight had the bench play pretty much the entire 4th quarter.

Crossovers tomorrow morning.

The run ended in the final. The boys had a sloppy 69-62 win in the semis this morning and a couldn't overcome a weak first half in the final against their cross-town rival, losing 99-86. DS had a double-double in both games. They will head off to the provincial championship next weekend as the two seed from the South-West. If all goes to form, the final next weekend should be the same two teams as this weekend.

Sounds like a successful weekend overall and looks like they another shot at the team that beat them.

Happy Superbowl. Put in 6 hours of work today this AM. I may have figured out a new routine.

Here's a Superbowl conspiracy theory. The Patriots wanted Goodell to suspend Brady. The NFL never punished the Patrots for cheating (Spygate) during the season like they do everyone else. How else to help a 39 year old quarterback stay fresh and injury free to make a Superbowl run.

Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. You mail 832 of them to me and then I mail to all the guys. This is a fool proof plan.

Oh, I so want to move the family to Florida, but I can't convince them to go. Any chance you have a parking spot for a camper? Even better if it has easy access to empty the chemical toilet into the storm drain and electric/ water hookups.

I'm house hunting right now. I'll keep your requirements in mind when I'm looking. I should have made the decision to move years ago. The area is safe with great schools. Traffic is the only downside, but being close to Disney is the icing on the cake!

There is no denying the Patriots are probably one of the best franchises in the history of the NFL. 15 years at there level of play has been amazing.

Morning all. Back to campus commute this week. And, we are having a monsoon right now.

I'm house hunting right now. I'll keep your requirements in mind when I'm looking. I should have made the decision to move years ago. The area is safe with great schools. Traffic is the only downside, but being close to Disney is the icing on the cake!

I think we will settle closer to a beach, maybe Vero area. It would be 2 hours away, so maybe closer to Cocoa. I'd like to retire to Golden Oak, but I'll need to win the lotto for that.

It was a great game. Amazing how that turned out. So many single plays could have sealed it for Atlanta.

All I could think about during the 4th quarter, and posted on FB, was about Hulk Hogan in the WWF getting beat down for three quarters, getting revived by the crowds, and then overcoming insurmountable odds to win the match because the once dominant foe was now a bumbling idiot who forgot how to pin him. It was a great script, and could have used some steel chairs and speeches during the game.

Evening fellas. With 25 days until our re-entry to the "real world" (aka WDW), I'm officially worthless at work. Some might say that is not a change from any other day. I've just got to get through a work trip between now and then. Boss came to me yesterday and wanted to fly to Ft Worth for a week, but thankfully got out of it. Two week long trips just before a trip to Disney SWMBO might have killed me.

Snow day here for 2/3 of the family. It is going to be a weird weather day. So far we have had snow, changed to ice pellets, will be changing to freezing rain and then rain. And for good measure it will drop back down below freezing tonight just to make it fun tomorrow.

This long day sure kicked my butt. 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at one job and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the other one. That includes the 140 mile commute. I pulled into the house at 4:50, got a sandwich, and drove to the next job. Not sure how long I can do this schedule.

Score. As long as he is a good kid. You are still gonna have to bring him around the rest of the Dads to make sure we approve.

If if he's not a good kid, then I don't care how much money he has. No one is treating my kids bad. Well, except me.

Well it's been a busy few days since I arrived home from overseas. Got home Sunday night. I got back from the airport just in time to see the 4th quarter, I'm not a huge football fan but it was entertaining in the end.
Monday was a snow day for the girls. I spent the day shovelling. Youngest DD has been sick the last couple days so that's been another distraction. She seems to be getting over it now thankfully.

Evening fellas. With 25 days until our re-entry to the "real world" (aka WDW), I'm officially worthless at work.

I would find it hard to concentrate too. Enjoy the trip.

We got the same here in St. John's overnight. Luckily it turned to rain and all the ice melted off the cars before morning.
